Being a mother changes an entire being. And the first time is always filled with doubts, concerns, fear of being a good mom. In my case an orthodox extended family with unbelievable superstitions on raising a child and absolutely no real context of right feeding! What was most striking was that even some of my peer moms follow the modern 'convenient for me' approach and not worry about what's really necessary for a child. My connection with Yasmin was over a simple problem given a serious outlook by my doc. Had i not been suggested her by Binaifer (my mentor, my friend), i would have repented for the rest of my life. At the time my baby girl Reva was only a month old. At 6 1/2 months now, i feel proud to have exclusively breastfed her and still continuing with Yasmin's guidance and Reva's solid eating cues. Yasmin and the support she provided me are the reasons why I am a proud breastfeeding mamma to my 16 month old baby today and we are going strong. After getting wrong and bad advice from several pediatricians and lactation consultants regarding my endless and painful nursing sessions, I met Yasmin and she was the first one who actually listened to my problems, checked my baby's latch as I fed him and did not dismiss me with generic advice. I have no words to express my experience of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Effath Yasmin. This was my journey to recovery with Yasmin and finding health in stillness and calmness. I started out being very skeptical of the therapy, but the results I got and saw from my own therapy sessions were marvellous, each session would touch various aspects of physical stress to emotional stress caused over the period of time and healed them. Some sessions helped me connect to inner self, whereas some left me in an emotional state which probably was never addressed and some sessions it was utter bliss. Thank you Yasmin for being there, helping me in my journey to look for health, with a gentle therapy, yet profound healing.

Dear Yasmin, I did your workshop on a gut feeling & came in with absolutely with no expectations. I was so deeply touched by the different aspects of parenting that you showed me. You made me re think my approach with every single human being I come across. My biggest realisation was that we are all children of God, and every one of us just wants to be loved, understood, accepted and appreciated for who we are, just as we are at every age. I had met 2 lactation consultants with no result until I got Yasmin's contact from Baby Chakra Yasmin gave enough time to understand my problem and was very patient in guiding me through the entire feeding process. Yasmin, here is my pre and post frenotomy (tongue tie release) experience. Symptoms before release: I have had severe headaches since childhood,neck and shoulder always felt tight, have dental issues,mouth breathing, poor digestion. After the procedure: Felt better with breathing just after the release, my neck and shoulder and back seem to improve after 3rd Biodynamic Craniosacral Session with you (The after care and body work I realise is such an essential part of the treatment. Each session has been crucial and helpful) I have just come back from a week long vacation and thankfully no headaches (which is very unlikely because long travels always gave me headaches) Also before release, every morning I used to feel very stiff(neck shoulder) and had to do a lot of stretching to feel better....now its all gone, I wake up fresh and happy When I am in traffic driving my car I would feel tension in my Jaw ( TMJ - Temporo-Mandibular Joint felt always tight and friction). Post frenotomy my jaw has dropped and I no more feel tension in my jaw and feel so free of strain on my facial muscles which always impacted my neck and shoulders. I used to slouch, sitting with my back straight never felt comfortable and now I see my posture has also improved....though I make conscious effort to stand/sit straight but it no more feels uncomfortable. If this helps anyone take a better decision, I am more than happy to share my story so far and I am still in my journey of more improvements. Thank you Yasmin for your immense support through this.

​Yasmin, yes in a way you are my mother. you push me to open more and grow more. In month 9 and 10 of my nursing I felt an immense guilt because I had nursed longer than anyone else in my family and I could not come to terms with this at first. In the end I was able to move away from the competition model of thinking about things and I could just accept that I was nursing--not longer or better than anyone but just right for myself and our family. 

There is so much more Yasmin to our relationship. Truly I feel this could be a very long article and I had the thought of contributing it to a Psychoanalytical Journal because it is a true example of a concept we call "intersubjectivity"--where one person's inner self communicates with another as happened between us through your dream that you were then able to communicate to me. You must realize the depth of our gratitude to you and your role in our life, not just for Ranya's breast feeding but also for my growth as a mother, as a woman, and as a human being. I continue to grow in love for you as we communicate ongoing.

Effath is a wonderful and so easy to approach. She actually sits with you and listens to all the issues related to the child. She sorted anaaya's lip tie issue and it's been a boon ever since. ​Assessment was correct only after I met effath Yasmin. None of the doctors or Lactation consultants were aware of this issue. Effath Yasmin is the best lactation consultant and a wonderful person who helped us sail through every difficult stage.

I got badly injured on my hands and needed to be rushed to the hospital. Receiving BCST from Yasmin as a first aid at different points through the night, helped me remain calm and composed through the chaos. At one point she even prevented me from becoming unconscious. I am certain that without Yasmin by my side this whole
experience would have been more stressful and traumatic for me. (Cannot thank you enough ...). After the plaster from my hand was removed, one session of BCST with Yasmin, helped to reduce the extent of swelling in my fingers significantly. ! it is astonishing to see how the body responds to being received in an environment of stillness, sensitivity and awareness. Yasmin is a master at providing this environment
