Current Ongoing Research
Yasmin is currently conducting a research on ANKYLOGLOSSIA - EFFICACY OF OUTCOME OF TREATMENT with Dr Suchetan Pradhan. Here is her message for all her clients who have worked with her in the last several years: "You have been aware of my passion, dedication and relentless effort to bring awareness and empowerment to parents about assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of babies and children affected by congenital condition called as Tongue & Lip Tie or clinically classified as Oral Ankylofrenula. In the array of my lens is also research and so therefore here is a Tongue & Lip Tie Treatment Study Parent Survey form. This form is for all parents who have worked with me for their babies only even if you chose not to do a treatment. Your feedback about assessment, diagnose and treatment for your baby's tongue & lip tie will help me conduct a research study to understand the efficacy of treatment protocol. Will be grateful for your support and feedback. This form may take you 5 mins of your time. - Warm Regards Effath Yasmin |

Ankyloglossia: The Diagnostic Dilemma Ankyloglossia or tongue-tie refers to a minor anomaly in the attachment of the membrane or frenum that attaches the tongue to the floor of the mouth, which may interfere with normal function and mobility of the tongue. This article focuses on how to identify and diagnose infant ankyloglossia. Also in this article, we have discussed an instrument fabricated by the team for clear retraction and visualization of posterior ankyloglossia. How to cite this article: Pradhan S, Yasmin E, Shah AM.
