Why are we so fearful of infections? When we get a cold and a cough it is always some else who has given it to us somehow its never us giving it to others? Dont touch this — dont touch that — dont share food ect are common statement you may hear around.
I was wondering if a doctor or a therapist fears infections every single day of their life who will treat and who will heal the sick?
Did Mother Teresa die of Leprosy especially since she mostly served and loved leprosy patients?
Immune system is a shared field of heart space. Being heart conscious allows an incredible boost to our immune system. Sharing the fluid field adds to the boosting of the immune system within a family and creates a common microbiome and common gut eco system. Our indian traditional rituals are so beautiful in how they preserve and encourage these eco system within family along with building bonding. If you ask me what is another term for immunity I will call it social bonding.
Do you know why during a Indian wedding ceremony bride and groom are made to eat from single piece of food or sweet and drink water or milk from a single glass? Do you know why they are encouraged to eat from the same plate? In fact this is practiced in many other cultures extended to even communities — for example in Arab communities, Bohra Muslim community, Jain community and many other communities they share a meal from a single extra large plate called the Thaal. The entire family and the extended Family eats from the same plate.
Do you know in most cultures when a baby begins solids at the middle of the first year of life the mother often softens food in her mouth before she feeds her baby. This is common practice in most traditional cultures.
Sharing spaces with an open heart space without fear and judgement is the single most game changer in boosting your immune system. The more we isolate ourselves the more the NEED to further Isolate in times of crisis like epidemic or a pandemic.
Does it mean we discard basic Hygiene ? — the answer is NO that is not the intent of this sharing. It is subtleness that need to be understood here and what we may have moved away from and why so many communicable diseases have topped the charts despite so many inventions of vaccines and antibiotics ect.
Is the sense of loving ‘community’ dying? and what is the meaning of community in real sense. When Science todays tells us we are 99.9 % community of microbes and less than 1% of human cells? Who are we then running away from?
